The Treyarch-developed shooter topped the US sales charts yet again for the month of February, taking it past Wii Play and to the top all-time sales list.

Elsewhere in the monthly NPD countdown, there were new entries for Marvel vs Capcom 3 at number two, Bulletstorm at seven, Killzone 3 at eight and Mario Sports Mix at 10.

Total software sales were down five per cent year on year but up on last month, with the top 10 titles selling six per cent more than in February.

On the hardware side, Xbox 360 came out on top and enjoyed its biggest non-holiday sales month ever, shifting 535,000 units. The NPD Group hasn't released details of how the other consoles fared.
